Iran is alone because of it is a theocracy. For it to find friends in the West, it will need to have a separation of religion and government. It also needs to stop denying the Holocaust and calling for the destruction of Israel. Oh, and it needs to stop backing Hezbollah.

Though, Iran is now a part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization… which is a mutual defense group between Russia, China, and some Central Asian nations. Iran isn’t as alone as you may think.
